500 ml concentrate for dilutions from 1+25 to 1+200. This developer is produced according to the last known Agfa RODINAL original recipe. It uses selected, re-treated raw materials and is absolutely identical in its formulation. To the best of our knowledge, this statement cannot be applied to any other paraminophenol-based developer on the market manufactured after 2010.
RODINAL is the oldest photochemical patent in the world. The concentrate has an almost unlimited shelf life - even if the bottle slowly changes color after opening. Once prepared, ADONAL must be used up quickly, as it quickly loses its effectiveness in dilutions above 1+25. Although there are development instructions from the last century according to which an ADOX 25 ASA film in Rodinal 1+200 would climb to a miraculous 400 ASA after 3 days of standing development, we think that every chemist will probably banish this theory to the drawer of curiosities.

ADONAL/RODINAL differs slightly from APH09/R09 in that it has a somewhat improved fine grain.
ADONAL/RODINAL also uses more expensive raw materials, which is also reflected in the sales price.
