PHOTOJAM – Our analog photo challenge

On April 30, we are celebrating the #AnalogSeasonOpening and inviting you to a very special photo competition: you register spontaneously on site, receive a roll of film and a theme from us and then you have 48 hours to take your best picture. No Photoshop, no bells and whistles – just you, your camera and your creativity. The best entries will be printed, exhibited and awarded prizes. All you need is a passion for analog photography and a good eye!

The key dates:

• Registration & theme announcement: Season Opening Event, April 30, 2025 – 19:30
• Final & exhibition: May 09, 2025 – 19:30
• Location: On site at our store in Kaiser-Wilhelm-Str. 75
• Participation: Free of charge – spontaneous & uncomplicated

The Photojam is a creative analog photography competition for individuals and teams. The concept: spontaneous, puristic, with a focus on the essentials – photography.

Here's how it works:

On the evening of April 30, you will receive a roll of film from us free of charge – you may only use this.
You will be given a theme to interpret creatively.
You are free in terms of content as long as you take up the theme in your visual language.
You have 48 hours.

Your exposed roll of film must be submitted by 02.05, 19:00.

The next day you will receive the scans – from these you can choose the image you want to submit. No editing allowed – only clean, analog output counts!

Evaluation & exhibition:

There will be a shortlist of max. 10 images, which will be printed in high quality by KHROME Fine Art and exhibited at our final event on May 09 and beyond in the store.

A top 3 will be selected and announced at the final event – with great prizes! (More details coming soon)
