Do you have cameras, lenses or photography accessories that need to find new owners? We are interested! Simply send us a list of the items (ideally with pictures) to ANKAUF@KHROME.DE and we will contact you to clarify whether a purchase is possible.
If you are interested in buying, there are two simple ways in which you can hand in your used cameras and lenses to us:
1. Appointment to hand them in at the store - preferred method
Our preferred option is to hand them in at the KHROME Hamburg store. Here we can get a personal impression of the equipment and process everything immediately. We will arrange an appointment for you to bring in your cameras, lenses and accessories. Depending on the quantity of items, the purchase process usually takes 15 to 30 minutes.
If you have to travel further, we recommend that you obtain a quote from us in advance before bringing the items by. Contact our purchasing team for an individual arrangement. You will then receive a list of all accepted items on site as proof of delivery.
Important: Acceptance of purchases on site only with prior appointment!
Acceptance and inspection of purchases is free of charge!
2. Sending by post - remote purchase
Are your cameras and lenses not from Hamburg or can you not come by in person? No problem! You can also send us your devices by post, but only by prior arrangement by e-mail. In this case, you will be responsible for the shipping and return costs. We strongly recommend that you use tracking and tracing to ensure that the devices arrive safely.

All the equipment you offer for sale with us is tested by our experts using professional equipment. The results of these tests are listed in detail for you so that you know exactly how the condition of your equipment affects the price.
After the inspection comes the offer
As soon as we have checked your purchase, we will make you a transparent offer in which we break down the results of the inspection and the price determination in a comprehensible manner. You are of course free to accept or reject this offer.
If you accept the offer, the amount will be paid to you in cash or by bank transfer.
Cameras that we do not purchase due to defects or offers that you reject must be collected from us within 2 weeks or returned at your own expense.

All purchases are handled by KHROME in New Town.
Can I just drop cameras off?
To ensure that the specialist staff from the purchasing team have the capacity to accept your gear, we must make an appointment in advance via ankauf@khrome.de.
Can I simply send the devices to you?
Purchases can be sent without any problems. However, the shipments must be discussed and announced in advance with the purchasing team. Please do this by e-mail at ankauf@khrome.de.
Will it cost me anything to check the cameras?
No, the inspection of cameras in connection with a purchase offer is free of charge with us.
How long does it take to receive my quote?
Depending on the workload, a test with an offer takes 1-2 weeks. It may take a little longer for special cases or high workloads.
How do I get my money?
For manageable amounts, payment in cash is possible directly in our store. Bank transfer is also always an option.
How long will it take before I receive my money?
As soon as the purchase contract has been signed, the transfer normally takes a few days to a maximum of 2 weeks.
What happens to cameras that are not purchased?
These must be collected by you within 2 weeks or returned at your own expense.
