The JOBO Alpha, optimized for the rotation process, is a high-performance film developer that is also very environmentally friendly. To ensure the developer's shelf life, it is supplied in two parts - and mixed and diluted with water only for processing.

In addition to the JOBO alpha developer, this kit contains the JOBO alpha neutral fixer, which is based on sodium thiosulphate and is therefore pH-neutral.

By combining the JOBO Alpha developer with the JOBO Alpha neutral fixer, the entire process takes place in an alkaline to pH-neutral environment. A short wash also replaces the usual acidic stop bath. The whole process is particularly gentle on the film emulsion and saves chemicals, water and time while also ensuring high long-term stability. Over-fixing is practically impossible with the JOBO Alpha neutral fixer. The fixer is odorless and free of harmful emissions.

JOBO alpha is specially designed for development in the rotary press. Of course it can also be used in tilt development, but in rotation it achieves reproducible optimal results.
