As film photographers, we've found that most flashes on the market are boring, plasticky and impractical. So we set out to create something different. We teamed up with a group of passionate film enthusiasts and innovative engineering students from the University of Bristol to develop our first flash - a compact, film-friendly flash with a beautifully designed aluminum housing that combines timeless aesthetics with reliable performance.

Minimalist
The KF-01 impresses with its simple, modern aesthetics. The rectangular shape of the KF-01 is inspired by the Contax TLA140, its housing is about the size of a credit card and is therefore very easy to carry. The minimalist design also ensures a discreet and unobtrusive appearance for your camera.

Versatile
Whether you use an analog or digital camera, the KF-01 always works. In addition to the hot shoe, the KF-01 also has a PC sync port for old cameras. There is an easy-to-read exposure table on the back of the flash, which makes it particularly suitable for film photographers.

Meet your requirements
With a guide number of 12, the flash provides sufficient light for most shooting situations. The shortest triggering time is only 1 second, so you will never miss a shot. The flash also offers three power levels, allowing for versatile light control.

Durable
The KF-01 has been developed for a long service life and is protected by an aluminum housing. In the event of repairs, many parts can be easily sourced and replaced. For your peace of mind, the KF-01 comes with a 24-month warranty.
The KF-01 is also powered by easy-to-source 2x AAA batteries, which provide approximately 300 flashes until replacement. Guaranteed reliability and long-lasting performance.
