The easy35 35mm Halfframe Holder allows 35mm Halfframe images to be scanned at optimum quality by blocking out extra light and shortening the film path for optimum flatness. The holder fits into the easy35 system like any other compatible holder - by sliding out the existing holder and sliding in this new holder.

The dimensions of the gate are approximately: length 21 mm, width 25.7 mm, so you can see the entire frame with a small margin.

VALOI easy35 holders work by feeding the film through a thin slot that runs through the entire holder and comes out the other side.

All VALOI holders have a double S-curve design where the slot through which the film is fed is curved before and after the scanning aperture. By bending the film slightly in one direction on both sides, greater flatness is achieved than would be possible with a straight slit.

Compatibility
It is compatible with all easy35 devices. The holder can be easily replaced by loosening a single screw and sliding the original holder out and the new one in.
