Valoi 360 Scanning Hood

The VALOI 360 Scanning Hood shields the film from external light during scanning. This is important if you want to leave the light on in the room to get good quality scans. With these covers, you can leave the light on in the room and create a more pleasant working environment.

Compatibility

The 35 mm version is only compatible with the standard VALOI 360 35 mm holder, not with the Custom Series holders.

The 120 mm version is only compatible with the VALOI 360 120 mm holder.

You can use the scan hoods with any configuration of the VALOI 360, including with the Advancer, only with the light adapter or only with the holder.

Materials and use

The hoods are manufactured using the FDM printing process using a carbon fiber-filled plastic. They have a very matt surface, which ensures that no reflections remain on the films.

To use the hoods, simply slide them on from one side of the holder. The fastening mechanism ensures that the hood stays in place even if you move the holder.
